Europe seems small since its distances are much shorter than American countries. But, it has a number of varieties in each country that makes you more entertained when visiting it and the trip ends up lasting the same or longer. That is why in this blog we want to make a bucket list of the places we would love to visit in Spain.
By the way, do you like bucket lists? In our networks, we are uploading some lists of cities, countries, and experiences to get to know each other better. Do you follow us?
Being our next big destination after Argentina, we want to know what you recommend us to see in Spain and if you have been to any of these cities. We read you in the comments!
For me, it is a special destination because I want Gaby to like it as much as I do, that she likes the food, the architecture, the weather, the people... I want her to feel as at home as I do.
So, without further ado, here is our list of cities we want to visit in Spain:
1. Madrid. The capital of Spain has a lot to offer, a unique environment for each person who will find their place and activity to do safely. We want to see its monuments and walk through its streets. Go out to see its atmosphere at night and enjoy its gastronomy.

Gran Vía.
2. Barcelona. The sea, the restaurants, the modernist architecture, and the museums stand out in this city. We want to walk along the Rambla and the Gothic Quarter, get to know its mountains and its beach, buy in its markets and enjoy all its facets.

Montjuïc.
3. Seville. We want to walk along the riverbank, eat a lot of tapas, and visit the cathedral and the center... but above all, we want to enjoy the atmosphere of this city.

Plaza de España.
4. Bilbao and San Sebastian. Gaby loves architecture, the cold, and good food. So I can't think of a better destination than the Basque north. We want to visit the Guggenheim and Paseo de la Concha, eat pintxos and visit the streets of the city.
5. Granada. The food, the history, and the Moorish past of this city are wonderful. I really want to wander around this city and visit La Alhambra.
6. The Costa Brava and Girona. Obviously, a bit of the coast could not be missing to enjoy our route through Spain. We want to rest, discover the medieval villages that this area hides and really enjoy its rugged nature.

Empúries beach.
7. Toledo. It is a city near Madrid with a lot of history that we would like to know about. It was the court of King Carlos I and for centuries it was inhabited by Christians, Jews, and Muslims. So we would love to be able to soak up all that history. And if we can add the city of Segovia as a day trip from Madrid, even better.
8. Zaragoza. The city of the Pilar cathedral, the bars, and the universities. We want to visit it in spring or autumn because we have been told that it is very cold.
9. The Canary Islands. They told us that the best is the north of Tenerife and Lanzarote, but we must finish seeing if we can visit the rest of the islands. We have also seen that El Hierro is unique, so we are thinking of doing a route there.

Papagayo beach.
The truth is that now we are putting together our route to find out what is essential so as not to miss anything and to be able to tell you everything we learn. Can you help us choose destination number 10?
We know that there are areas that are incredible and we don't want to leave anything out. We want to visit a town in the Pyrenees, see the surroundings of Madrid, visit Cantabria and Galicia (we are still looking at which are the best routes)… But we wanted to make a list of must-see places. Did we miss any essential cities?
