As many of you already know, right now we are in Spain. To be able to connect to the Internet and make calls we needed a SIM card or a chip. Here we tell you all the steps we follow to get one.
First, you will need to know which company you want to be in, there are many offers on the internet and you must choose which one is the most suitable for you. We chose one that offered us a fiber and mobile pack (29 GB) for €39 per month. Look for a company that does not make you have permanence. Thus, if your trip lasts a month, you can contract it only for that time.
There are also prepaid cards, but from what we understand, if you make a long trip it ends up being more expensive. We want to warn you that in Spain there are many places with an open internet connection such as McDonald's, shopping centers, Apple stores...
When you have chosen the company, you can go to an affiliated or official store to buy your card, having previously contracted the service there. If you are not in a rush to get it, you can have the SIM card sent to a postal address.
Once you have the card, you can configure it (it's very simple) on your mobile phone.
With the Spanish card, you can travel throughout Europe by activating roaming. That allows you to make calls and have a connection from other countries.
